Ideas for the Forum

Hello ,

I would like to post about the CPRD - UN Covention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as it represents a paradigm shift in attitudes and approaches to persons with disabilities. But it needs to be discussed and need to be educated about it otherwise it is just another dry legal structure. It does have some very real teeth behind it from the European Court of Human Rights that can be used if issues are not resolved within individual countries. Maybe there should be a legal rights, human rights and general rights part of the forum for this kind of thing ?

Another section that many forums have these days is an "off topic" section where members can talk about issues otherwise unrelated to One Voice but they might not be able to discuss elsewhere. Another traditional one is a "General" section rather than restricting members to individual sections.
